Programming

I have gained experience in a number of programming languages and use of commercial software for data analysis during my working career. I do programming on a daily basis in the following areas:

  • statistical analysis of data
  • development of several easy-to-use software with graphical user interfaces that allows non-programmers and non-statisticians to apply advanced statistical methods to their data [see Software projects]
  • development of data analysis packages in Python and R

The overview below lists programming languages and commercial data analysis software I am proficient in using. During most of my career I worked on the Microsoft Windows platform, but in recent years I have increasingly used Ubuntu.
